Studio Owner and Instructor
Greg’s love of ballroom dancing started as a young teenager. After receiving an invitation to a relative’s wedding, he decided to take a few lessons in order to be able to dance and have more fun at the wedding reception. His family recognized his considerable and unique talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in dance. Since then, he has been teaching, dancing and competing both in his native Poland as well as here in the U.S. for the past 16 years.
His career as a professional ballroom dancer started when he moved to the United States in 2003. He has participated in the American Rhythm and International Latin divisions in regional and global competitions. Greg holds national certifications in ballroom dance and teaches Standard and Latin dances in both International and American styles. In addition, he is a certified fitness professional, holding certifications by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Greg also incorporates a fitness approach to dance that creates a unique and effective experience for the student who is interested in getting fit while having fun. In addition to teaching customized dance programs tailored to adults and children, he also teaches wheel chair dancing.
Giving back to the community in which he lives is important to Greg. He has performed in charitable dance events sponsored by Habitat for Humanity and by various non-profit arts organizations such as Classics Dance Theater Company, Curtain Call and Stamford Gives Back, created by the mayor of Stamford’s wife, Mrs. Pavia.
Greg holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science. He also designs web sites and is the Web Master for his studio Dance-Fit’s web site. Greg and his wife Sandra live in Greenwich with their son Alexander.
Public Relations Director
Gabriella has an extensive background in public relations. She has worked for Broadway Dance Center and has also represented clients in the areas of fitness, fashion, interior design and the fine arts. Her love of dance has led her to many years of study in ballet, jazz, tap, theater, contemporary and Latin jazz. At present, she is studying dance with Greg Kasprzak and plans to participate in the Pro/Amateur category of the American Rhythm division in national ballroom dance competitions. Gabriella has a bachelor’s Degree in both Art History and Communications and recently finished her Master’s degree from New York University in Costume Studies. She also currently works for the Manhattan based fashion designer Ralph Rucci and teaches Costume History to fashion design students at the Art Institute in TriBeCa. Gabriella resides in Greenwich with her husband Claudio.
Jacelyn D. Mirabal
Jacelyn is of Puerto Rican and Spaniard descent. Born in NYC, raised in Westchester, and currently a Connecticut resident, this former Cheerleader and Gymnast has been developing her Salsa talent for over 6 years. Her style of body movement stems from of blend of more then 6 studios in which she has actively participated. Enjoying the thrill of a great crowd, she has performed in salsa congresses and nightclubs. Proud to be a salsa instructor, Jacelyn's great personality, patience, and passion to dance is wonderfully contagious at Dance-Fit.
Lisa Sparkles Paternoster
The highlight of her career was winning fourth place in the World Hustle Dance Championships after recovering from a severe ankle injury.
She attributes her success to her positive attitude, patience, instructing skills and passion for her profession.
She became involved in her profession after expressing an interest in swing dance and being hired and trained as a studio instructor at the age of 17.
Ms. Paternoster is a region-wide competitor who, along with her students, employs various styles of dance.
She teaches all types of Ballroom Dance and Fitness Programs
She is a certified Pro-Am Instructor and Competing Professional, member of National Dance Council of America, she is a certified Zumba Gold Instructor
